The 10-acre Cambridge Park sits on the east side of Victory Lane adjacent to Cambridge Elementary School in Concord, making it easy to find if you’re familiar with that part of town. It’s a solid neighborhood park that works well for a quick outing with your dog, especially if you live nearby or are passing through the area.
The park has picnic tables scattered throughout and plenty of shade trees, which is useful if you want to sit for a bit while your dog rests. There are expansive turfed playfields set up for soccer and two separate playground areas—one for younger children and another for older kids—so you’ll see families using the space, but there’s usually enough room to avoid crowds during quieter times of day.
A short walking path circles the park, giving you a straightforward route for an easy stroll with your dog. It’s nothing dramatic, but it gets the job done if you’re looking for a low-key walk without having to leave the neighborhood. Dogs must be on leash throughout the park.
The practical details: there’s a waste bag station and trash cans on site, which is helpful, though I’d recommend bringing your own bags since dispensers can occasionally run empty. There’s also a restroom available if you need it. One thing to know is that Cambridge Park doesn’t have a designated parking lot, so you’ll be parking on the street. It’s generally not difficult to find a spot along Victory Lane, but check the signage to make sure you’re in a legal area.
This park works best as a convenient neighborhood option rather than a destination you’d drive across town for. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a visit, and it’s particularly useful if you have kids and a dog since you can keep an eye on both while they move around the space.
