Creekside Park

Creekside Park

3151 E Riverside Dr., Ontario, California 91761

Creekside Park opened in August 1990 as a neighborhood green space in Ontario, positioned on the northeast corner of Riverside Drive and Turner Avenue. It’s primarily known as the outdoor recreation area for Grace Yokley Middle School, but the park welcomes dogs on leash, making it a solid option if you’re in the area and want some open space to walk around.

The park has the typical amenities you’d expect from a well-maintained local facility—open grass areas and walking paths that give you room to move without feeling crowded. The setting is fairly quiet, which works well if your dog does better without a lot of stimulation. You’ll find enough space to let your dog stretch out and sniff around, though keep in mind this isn’t a dog park with dedicated off-leash areas, so your dog stays leashed the whole time.

If you’re coming from elsewhere in Ontario or passing through San Bernardino County, this isn’t going to be a destination trip on its own. But if you’re already in the neighborhood or live nearby, it’s a reliable spot to get outside. The park handles its maintenance reasonably well, so you won’t be dealing with overgrown or neglected areas. A walk here is straightforward—no real elevation changes or technical terrain, just a gentle outdoor break.

The location near the intersection of Riverside and Turner makes it pretty easy to access if you know that part of Ontario. Check the city website at ontarioca.gov for current information about any park hours or seasonal changes before you head over.
