Starr Road is rural and quiet, lined with vineyard properties rather than houses, so the drive-in feels removed from suburban sprawl. The pergola provides shade in summer, though midday heat can still build on the patio in August and September.

Dogs are welcome on the patio during tastings but are not permitted inside the tasting room or on vineyard walks. The winery maintains its own dogs on the grounds, so your dog will encounter them; most visits are straightforward, but it depends on your dog’s temperament around other animals. Tastings come with cheese and charcuterie pairings, and the staff will bring water for dogs without you asking.
