The dog-friendly section south of the resort has the kind of beach most dogs love: wide sandy areas where they can dig, chase, and splash in the water. The surf is generally gentle, which is good if your dog is nervous about bigger waves. You’ll see plenty of people out here with their dogs during cooler months, particularly in the morning before it gets crowded. There are a few casual spots where you can grab food afterward—nothing fancy, but there are places that will let you sit outside with your dog while you eat.
