Six years ago, a unique tradition began for Next Level Sailing when Captain Troy introduced his corgi, Louis, to the world of whale watching aboard his boat. This tradition has since evolved with the addition of Marie Antoinette, a chocolate Lab who was taken under Louis’s wing. Nowadays, Marie Antoinette plays a vital role in greeting guests alongside Captain Troy, often found basking in the sunlight on deck during tours. Despite her calm demeanor, she starts her day with a vigorous six-mile run with Diana, ensuring she’s full of energy to meet all who come aboard.

The family and crew’s passion for animals doesn’t stop with Marie Antoinette. Many have started bringing their dogs along for the adventure, transforming the whale watching experience into a menagerie on the seas. Among them is Walter, a rescue dog adopted by Troy’s daughter Amy, known for his fascination with marine life, actively engaging with the sight of whales, dolphins, and seabirds. His adventures can be followed online, capturing the hearts of many with his spirited tales at sea. Other canine crew members include Scarlett, stylishly accessorized with flowers or bows, and Clover, an 11-month-old Red Heeler mix with the appearance of a fox, who enthusiastically participates in sailing activities. Guests may also meet other furry friends, like Cash, who often accompanies Marie at the helm, enhancing the unique and welcoming atmosphere of these tours.

They offer whale watching tours and charter options for special occasions and corporate events.
