Pleasanton doesn’t have a ton of Mediterranean restaurants, so Oasis Wine Lounge stands out if you’re craving kebabs, hummus, and other traditional dishes from that region. The outdoor patio is where you’ll want to sit with your dog—it’s a relaxed space where the staff clearly expects dogs to be there, not reluctantly tolerated.
The menu leans into classics you’d find at a good Mediterranean spot. Beyond the kebabs and hummus, there are other traditional dishes that pair well with their wine selection. They take the wine list seriously, with enough variety that you can find something to match whatever you order. It’s not a casual beer-and-burgers kind of place, but it’s not stuffy either.
The vibe during our visit was genuinely relaxed. Other tables had dogs with them, and the staff treated everyone—human and canine—as regular guests rather than making a thing about it. They paid attention to refilling water glasses and checking in on both you and your dog without being hovering about it.
Pleasanton’s downtown area has some decent walkability if you want to grab a table and spend an hour or two lingering. The patio gets decent sun depending on the time of day, so you might want to scope out a shaded spot or grab an umbrella table if you’re going midday in summer.
The restaurant handles reservations, which is worth doing on weekends or if you’re bringing a larger group. Their website has current hours and menu updates, so check before heading over since restaurant schedules can shift seasonally.
