Palisades Tahoe is an all-season resort near Lake Tahoe. In summer, dogs ride free on scenic cable-car rides to High Camp, a sports complex at 8,200 feet that includes an ice rink, swimming pool complex, umbrella bar, restaurant and access to many hiking trails.
The village offers many dog-friendly outdoor dining options. Pet-friendly lodging is available at Plumpjack Inn and elsewhere in the area, but not at the Village at Palisades Tahoe, where only owner’s dogs are allowed in condominiums.
