This hidden little spot has no “official” name, but that won’t stop your dog from jumping into the cool, clear Lake Tahoe waters here.
As the name states, there is no sand here, only rocks, but it’s still a great spot! Dogs should stay on leash until they are at the water’s edge, and then it’s swimming time.
The beach is located four miles south of Tahoe City and just north of the Kaspian Campground on Highway 89. It is part of Elizabeth Williams Park. Help dog parents protect our access to this area by following the rules.
Alert: Due to elevated fire danger, wood and charcoal fires are currently prohibited in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
