The 87-acre Roberts Regional Recreation Area is a popular place for dog walking and family and group picnicking, with many trails throughout the area including some that lead to Redwood Regional Park. It is known for its lush setting in a grove of fragrant second growth redwood trees off Skyline Boulevard in Oakland, and is part of the dog-friendly East Bay Regional Park District

  • Hours: Park open between 5am and 10pm unless otherwise posted or permitted.

  • Fees: Parking: $5 per vehicle. $4 per trailered vehicle. Buses: $25/per bus
  • Dogs: $2 per dog. Guide/service dogs free. Visa/Mastercard Accepted. Cash is accepted when the kiosk is staffed.
