In 2015 a trail was added to turn this old, steep ranch road into a rewarding loop trail. Follow directions above but turn left onto Valley View Loop where Wagon Road Trail makes a hairpin turn. Go up the switchbacking single track trail. Take a rest at the bench at the top and enjoy the beautiful view of the Livermore Valley. Head down the steep ranch road and complete Wagon
Road Loop. Walking or biking up this trail will work your calves and get your heart pumping!
• Valley View Loop: 1.43; Full suggested route including upper loop, 4 miles round trip.
• Strenuous. Well-built single track trail and wide dirt trail with steep elevation gains.
• Great for a workout or longer hike, mountain bikers, getting a beautiful view of the Valley.
