The dog-friendly Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe at Northstar California in Truckee has a ski-in, ski-out location at mid-mountain and a seasonal (winter) gondola connection to the base-area resort hub. In the summer, the gondola carries your dog up the mountain for hiking and checking out the views. They also have a Lake Tahoe waterside venue.

The resort hosts “Yappy Hour” Sundays in July and August on the Backyard Terrace. The event features cocktail specials for adults as well as chicken and beef bouillon-flavored water and local treats and bones for four-legged guests.
