Join the 6th year of live music in the Village of Big Bear Lake. The lineup is local talent with a few special guests from off the mountain who wanted to join us. The venues are our local businesses, and the audience is everyone who is in town.
Make Music Day is a live, free musical celebration always on June 21, the longest day of the year – the Summer Solstice. Launched in France in 1982 as Féte de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries.
This event is getting huge, and the town is loving this. With over eighteen (18) business locations participating, sixteen (16) in the Village and two (2) in the Moonridge Corridor, hosting over 100 musicians/bands on Village Drive, Pine Knot Avenue, and Moonridge Road. Busking…. you mean street musicians, yes, busking. Some of us like to just let it out no matter where we are.
