A vibrant dog park bathed in sunlight features abundant greenery with mature trees, offering ample shade for leisurely outdoor activities. In the distance is a well-equipped playground that presents an additional activity area. An inviting picnic table spreads out nearby, ideal for enjoying meals al fresco or taking relaxing breaks from play. A neatly-placed trash bin aids in maintaining the park's cleanliness for everyone's enjoyment. Dominating the scene is a generously wide dirt path gracefully curving through the expanse of grass, promising exploratory walks and lively fetch games.

Diverse cultural and culinary traditions define Oakland. The Town also offers delicious, dog-friendly dining options. Named after the West African term for a roadside bar and community hub, Chop Bar serves brunch, lunch and dinner on a popular outdoor patio. Pups are also welcome at Jack London Square neighbors like Seabreeze on The Dock, The Forge Handcrafted Pizza and Heinold’s First & Last Chance Saloon.

A young London reportedly frequented this 1884 waterfront landmark. Grand Lake Kitchen has Dimond District and Lake Merritt locations, while Xochi The Dog Café caters to pets and has coffee, empanadas and sandwiches for people.
