Humane Society for inland Mendocino County

For almost 30 years now, the
Humane Society for Inland Mendocino County has been providing a safe haven for the county’s critters in distress, finding them new loving homes, and helping the surrounding community with spay/neuter and other support services.
Enjoying HSIMC’s hospitality at the moment are many excellent canine companions, from puppies to elders and tinies to giants. Also if you’re local and would like to help out, volunteers and fosters are always welcome.
One novel volunteer opportunity: Kong stuffers. Shelter dogs love the diversion (and tastiness) of getting frozen food out of Kongs. It’s a big quality-of-life improvement for them while they’re waiting to go home. If you’ve got time to spend putting food into Kongs, HSIMC would love to hear from you and also will provide the supplies!
