California's delightful year-round weather not only benefits its residents and visitors but also plays a significant role in producing exceptional wines. With over 800 dog-friendly wineries located across the state, dog parents have no shortage of irresistible destinations to explore together.

DogTrekker’s favorite regions in Northern California are Mendocino County; the Carneros region and Suisun Valley, easily accessible from Vacaville; and Sacramento the Gold Country, using our capital as your basecamp.

In Southern California, it is easy: Temecula Valley Wine Country! One of California’s best-kept secrets, there are more than 30 dog-friendly wineries and lots of room to roam.
