Just a little over 30 miles from San Francisco on the sunny side of the bay, this area encompasses three valleys and four cities where dog-friendly hotels, restaurants, wineries and craft breweries and tap rooms abound.
Among the oldest of California wine regions, Tri-Valley area is home to three dozen dog-friendly wineries. The region’s boutique labels are produced in small lots and not widely known, which makes it all the more fun to discover something new. While the Tri-Valley region is best known for its wines, craft breweries are drawing an ever-increasing share of visitors. Some 14 dog-friendly breweries, tap rooms and beer-centric restaurants are represented on the Tri-Valley Craft Beer Trail. Many are conveniently situated just off Interstates 680 and 580, in or near the cities of Pleasanton, Dublin and Danville.
