Cozy bed-and-breakfast properties like Grape Leaf Inn and Calderwood Inn promise Victorian charm. The Harmon Guest House, also a 2024 Sunset award winner for Where to Stay: Wine Country Escapes, accommodates well-behaved dogs weighing 50 pounds or less. Shops such as Fideaux, Debbie’s Pet Boutique and Your Pet’s Market carry treats and playful pet supplies. When it’s time to run, head to the fully fenced Villa Chanticleer Dog Park. It’s a 1.5-acre playground with water stations and shade trees. Off-leash options include Riverfront Regional Park and the 11-acre Badger Park.
