Right in the middle of our state, Fresno County is the capital of California’s agriculture and a gateway to some of the most spectacular scenery in the Sierra Nevada. Closer to the city of Fresno, the Woodward Regional Park offers an off-leash dog park and miles of trails along the San Joaquin River. The Fresno County Parks system includes scenic spots perfect for a day hike with your pup. For a taste of the local food scene, stroll through downtown Fresno’s Tower District where many restaurants feature dog-friendly patios.
