Birdstone Winery is a family-owned operation on the eastern edge of Madera County. 

Their wines are hand-crafted from local fruit and aged in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels. They work with local farmers to be certain they have the best fruit possible – so they can create the best wine for their customers. 

At Birdstone, they select varieties that their customers love, like Merlott, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah & Port. They also make wines from lesser-known varieties that grow amazingly well in Central California. If you’re looking for something special or searching for a new favorite, try their Tempranillo, Sangiovese or their Barbera.

Well behaved dogs are permitted off-leash on the 40 acre property, including on roads and trails in the vineyard and orchard. However, during special events dogs may not be allowed. Please check with the winery if you'll be visiting outside of regular tasting hours (11am to 5pm Friday through Sunday) to ensure you dog can come with you.
