Freedom Dog Park has about 3 acress of grassy and areas with some part of the shade, and is part of a 26-acre neighborhood park in Palm Desert. There is a creek for dogs and separate areas for large and small dogs.
To make sure no human or canine gets overheated, there are several drinking stations throughout the gated areas, as well as misters to help you stay cool.
Dogs are allowed to go with you anywhere else in the park as long as they are leashed. And of course, please pick up after your dogs; there are stations with bags for you to use as well.
