Indian Oaks Trailer Ranch sits in the heart of Temecula Wine Country, surrounded by oak and pine trees that make this feel more like a retreat into nature than a typical RV park. The location gives you easy access to wine tastings and tours throughout the region, plus Old Town Temecula’s shops and restaurants are just a short drive away. There’s a lake on the property where you can fish or swim, and an outdoor bar if you want to relax after exploring the area.
Dogs are welcome here, but there are some important specifics to know. They’re only allowed in RV sites—not in any of the cabins or cabin sites. You can have up to two dogs per RV site. If you want to tie your dog outside while you’re there, that’s fine as long as you’re with them, but they can’t be left alone in vehicles, trailers, kennels, or tied-up fencing. Temecula local law requires dogs to stay on leashes of six feet or shorter at all times. The ranch does ask that pets be quiet and well-behaved. If your dog is the barking type, you’ll need to keep them with you rather than leaving them unattended outside your RV, since excessive noise can get them asked to leave the park.
Getting here from I-15 is straightforward: take Rancho California Road east for about eight miles, then turn right onto East Benton and continue for three more miles to reach the ranch. The setting works well if you want to explore wine country without spending every night in a hotel, and the natural surroundings give your dog room to stretch out between activities. Just be upfront about your dog’s temperament when you book—they’re serious about keeping things calm for all their guests.
