The Klamath River RV Park sits right on the water with RV and tent sites that have spectacular views of the Klamath River and the mountains beyond. You’re surrounded by California Redwoods State and National Parks, so there’s plenty to explore when you’re not settled at your site.

If fishing is on your agenda, you can cast a line right from the park for Klamath River salmon and steelhead. The park has boat docks, a fish cleaning station, and a boat ramp, plus fishing guides are available if you want help locating the best spots. Even if you’re not an angler, watching other boats come and go and the river itself is pretty entertaining.

The RV sites come with full hookups and cable TV, and many have direct river views—those are worth requesting when you book. Tent campers have spots here too. You’ll find restrooms and showers, a clubhouse, laundry facilities, and wifi throughout the park. There’s a playground if you have kids who need to burn off energy, and the overall vibe is clean and welcoming.

The park operates seasonally from May 1st through October 31st, so plan accordingly. Getting there is straightforward: take US Highway 101 to Exit 768 for Klamath Beach Road, which you’ll find just south of Klamath River. Turn left at the stop sign and continue for about a mile—the park entrance is on your right. The location gives you good access to the area; you’re roughly 20 miles south of Crescent City and 60 miles north of Eureka, so it works as a base for exploring the North Coast redwoods or as a stopping point if you’re traveling through.
