This 1936 streamlined-modern dog-friendly motel is perched just a block from the ocean in the Sunset District, well removed from downtown traffic. Rooms are arrayed around a grassy courtyard, and many have kitchenettes or full kitchens.
Two-bedroom family suites, as well as smaller rooms, are available. Ocean Beach and Fort Funston, with its leash-free romp space for dogs, are just a stroll away. Parking is free in on-site garage or surrounding streets.
Dog fees based on weight: $10/day for dogs up to 20 lbs; $15/day for dogs 20-40 lbs; and $20 for dogs over 40 lbs.
