Since 2003 Bay Area diners have turned to Pacific Catch for balanced and healthful seafood preparations inspired by flavors from the Pacific. The menu weaves wild-caught and sustainably-raised fish with Pacific Catch guest favorites from the FishBar, like Hawaiian Pokes and Ceviches and newly introduced Sushi Tacos. Completing the offering are signature “Grains and Greens” Bowls, Tacos, Fish & Chips, Wagyu and Fish Burgers, and a seasonal offering of fresh fish from the “Fresh Catch” menu.
Located in the Corte Madera Town Center, the Marin location offers an indoor/outdoor patio space that allows the sunshine and cool breeze to pour in, transporting guests to a relaxed vacation spot. We brought our dog on a weekend afternoon and found plenty of shade under the market-umbrella setup on the patio—important since Marin’s summer sun can get intense. The outdoor seating feels genuinely separate from the indoor dining area, so there’s no awkward navigating through the restaurant itself.
The menu works well if you’re trying to keep things relatively light. The poke bowls and ceviches feel fresh and actually restorative rather than heavy, and we appreciated that they’re not drowning everything in mayo-based sauces. If you want something more substantial, the fish tacos and burgers deliver without being a total production to eat while managing a dog at a table.
Service moved at a reasonable pace even when things got busy. Staff seemed used to dogs on the patio and didn’t make a fuss. The main thing to know is that you’re in a shopping center with open-air parking, so it’s genuinely easy to take your dog in and out without wrestling through tight spaces or dealing with heavy doors. Bring water for your dog since the patio can feel fairly exposed to the elements depending on where you’re seated.
