Seaside Beach is a beautiful and dog-friendly beach located approximately 6 miles north of Fort Bragg. It offers stunning views and ample room for your dog to stretch his legs and run off-leash till he’s too tired to move!
Please be aware that dogs are welcome at Seaside Beach, but not allowed south of the Ten Mile River, which is at the south end of this beach. The endangered snowy plover lives and nests just south of the Ten Mile River. This is a small shorebird that is protected by Federal law. Please respect these rules, and keep your dog north of the Ten Mile River at all times.
Parking in this area is limited and the street outside the beach is busy, so keep your dog leashed until you are safely on the sand. Also, bring your own doggie bags as there are none near the beach.
While DogTrekker regularly updates off-leash rules, it is important to check to be sure that this area still allows voice control prior to removing your dog’s leash.
