Sunnynook River Park is a gem along the LA River. It is 3.4 acre walkway showcasing native plants, picnic tables, benches and the river! Once you find the entrance keep walking north along the river and you will find the Sunnynook footbridge where you can cross the river and continue your journey south on the river which leads to Red Car River Park.
Sunnynook River park is a little tricky to find. You have to walk down Glendale Boulevard on the north side of the street (odd numbered addresses side). Walk past where Hyperion Ave and Glendale Blvd split staying on Glendale Blvd, walk to the 5 freeway North onramp and right directly before the onramp is the entrance to your right. Follow the bike path signs.
