Looking for a spacious park in Sacramento where you can relax, explore and enjoy a day out with your pup? Tahoe Park is a local gem offering a wide range of amenities—perfect for pet parents and their two- or four-legged kids.
While dogs must stay on leash and aren’t allowed in play areas or pools, there’s still plenty to sniff, stroll and enjoy at this 17-acre park. Shady picnic spots, open grassy fields and paved walkways make this a great stop for a casual walk or weekend outing.
Park amenities:
- Open grassy areas for leashed walks
- Six picnic areas with tables and barbecues (including one under a gazebo)
- A basketball court, a volleyball court, horseshoe pits and a softball field with lights
- Restrooms and a swimming/wading pool (for humans only)
- Two playgrounds for children (tot lot and area for older kids)
- Bantam soccer field
