The Rio Nido Lodge in Guerneville sits right on the Russian River, which immediately caught my attention as a dog owner. The setting is genuinely peaceful—tall redwoods and river views everywhere you look. The lodge welcomes dogs in their rooms, so you’re not dealing with kennels or separation anxiety while you’re trying to relax.
