Pleasant Hill Itinerary

Pleasant Hill is like a dream come true for dogs. It’s not just pet-friendly; it’s practically pet-tastic! 5 out of 7 hotels in Pleasant Hill roll out the red carpet for your and your dog. They offer pet-sitting services, treats, comfy beds, and more. It’s like staying in doggy paradise! There are also dog-friendly restaurants, hiking and more. Explore all that Pleasant Hill has to offer with a 3-day itinerary.

Day 1: Check into the Hyatt House, with lovely rooms and suites and plenty of room to stretch. They also have a VIP doggy basket that your dog will love. You can get a bite to eat and a cocktail at the bar or get snacks from the H Market. Take an evening stroll outside and settle in to rest up for the next day’s adventures.

Day 2: Start with pampering for your dog at Noni’s Grooming, then head over to Jack’s Restaurant for a delicious lunch. After that, a trip to Paso Nogal Open Space, with interior fenced dog parks and miles of beautiful trails. By now you’re thirsty so head over to Morgan Territory for a beer tasting – they have doggy water bowls too – for a pint and a bite. Many nights they have live music too.

Day 3: Sleep in a bit and then head to Starbucks for a puppuccino. Next, breakfast at the Sonesta Select Hotel. After a little shopping in town, head out to Briones Regional Park for trails with stunning views and a good workout. You’ll need sustenance next, so enjoy a fabulous lunch at Crescent Bistro, then make a quick stop for delicious cupcakes at Batter ‘N Icing to take home.

Day 4: Call your friends to plan a trip to Pleasant Hill and stay at the Residence Inn this time. There’s lots more for you and your dog to do in and around Pleasant Hill!
