Set on 33 safe, scenic acres, it’s tail-waggin’ fun with a greater purpose: Wild Blue Dogs events raise money for canine cancer treatments and research. Don’t miss this unforgettable getaway with your dog. Spots sell fast, so sign up today.

Do good while having a dog-gone great time

Wild Blue Dogs presents camps with a dual purpose: bring pups and people together for engaging activities and raise funds to combat canine cancer. September is a gorgeous time to gather at the Lake Tahoe location. Against the backdrop of glittering blue waters and blazing fall color, professional trainers lead classes in tricks, tracking, agility, impulse control, rattlesnake avoidance, nose work and problem solving, plus pet fitness, photography, paddleboarding, nutrition and more.

Look for two new meal plans in 2026. Registration also includes snacks and drinks, along with a swag bag packed with goodies for you and your dog. Secure your spot today.

Fetching places to stay and play

Wild Blue Dogs campers choose from three lodging options. Bring towels, toiletries and a sleeping bag to stay at the 4-H campground where daily activities take place. Rustic cabins here have twin beds. Roommates are assigned, or you can share with a friend by listing them on your registration.

You can also join camp guests at Americana Village, a hotel that’s two miles from camp. Many rooms have kitchenettes, and there’s a fenced dog park, fire pits and heated pool. Or, book your own stay at a dog-friendly South Lake Tahoe hotel, RV park or rental home and join campers for all the fun.

Pause for a cause with Wild Blue Dogs

Giving back is central to everything the Wild Blue Dogs team does. It’s the country’s only not-for-profit dog camp, and its need-based program presents grants to people who lack the resources to pay for their pet’s cancer treatments. The organization also funds canine-cancer research, benefiting four-legged friends everywhere. You’ll have a dog-gone good time at Wild Blue Dog camps – while helping the organization fight canine cancer. If you can’t attend the fall camp this year, please donate to help Wild Blue Dogs continue its very important work.
