Dog-friendly Death Valley
Death Valley, Nevada, is a memorable dog-travel destination for travelers who love dramatic scenery and open-road adventure. In Death Valley National Park, Stovepipe Wells Village is one of the best dog-friendly places to stay, and both Badwater Saloon and Toll Road Restaurant offer outdoor seating where dogs are welcome. Dogs in the park are allowed in developed areas such as roads, campgrounds and parking areas, but not on hiking trails, so this is a place for scenic drives, short walks and sunset stops rather than big trail days.
Beyond the park, the surrounding Death Valley region adds a few more dog-friendly options. Panamint Springs Resort is another pet-friendly place to stay on the park’s western side, while Longstreet Inn, Casino & RV Resort near Death Valley Junction offers a dog-friendly base just outside the park.
