Established in 1853, the historic 7 Mile House is a family restaurant, sports bar, and live music venue that serves a unique mix of home-style Italian, American, and Filipino food. Located at 2800 Bayshore Blvd in Brisbane, this San Mateo County landmark has been bringing people together for well over a century and a half, making it one of the oldest continuously operating restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area. With the opening of their heated patio, the opportunity to allow customers to bring their dogs out for a meal or drink was a natural next step. The dog-friendly “Paws on the Patio” menu features turkey, steak, smoked pig ears, dog beer, dog cigars, and even dog ice cream. When your dog arrives, the welcoming staff will bring out a bowl of water and a complimentary doggie treat to kick off the visit. The restaurant has been awarded “Best Dog-Friendly Restaurant” five years in a row by SF Weekly, a testament to how seriously they take the canine dining experience.
With 7 Mile House being located at the foot of San Bruno Mountain State Park, and a short drive from the Candlestick Point State Recreation Area, planning an outing with your dog for a full day of fun and having a meal at 7 Mile House together will be everyone’s favorite weekend activity. The restaurant also hosts dog birthday “pawties,” offers a daily Yappy Hour where dogs receive a free peanut butter biscuit, and runs a V.I.D. Hours are Monday through Thursday 11:30 AM to 9 PM, Friday and Saturday 11:30 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 8 PM.
