Nestled in the north-eastern hillside above Napa Valley lies a hidden gem, Pope Valley Winery, producing premium wines from Napa Valley.
Pope Valley Winery seems to transport you back in time with the original hand dug cave complete with hand hewn redwood timbers. The original farmhouse still graces the property, as well as a blacksmith's workshop, complete with tools of the trade. The tasting room is welcoming with out pretense, offering a number of limited production, winery only releases.
The Winery includes picnic grounds and bocce ball court so feel free to bring a picnic lunch or they have brie & crackers for sale in their tasting room.
Pope Valley Winery offers a custom wine flight for $30 with no appointment necessary, as well as a number of premiumtasting packages by appointment. They also offer complimentary tours daily.
