After retiring in the hills off Fish Rock Road, the late Peter Mullins slowly created this stunning showplace that’s now managed by his daughter, Genevieve. Before he settled in the redwood groves near Gualala, Mullins amassed a collection of gorgeous stone, brick and tile. The home’s red sandstone patio is outfitted with a fire pit, tile mosaics from the Catalina Island seawall, and a wood-fired pizza oven crafted from black granite. Elsewhere on the grounds, the Adobe House sleeps eight, while a dreamy off-grid yurt overlooking the ocean also accommodates overnight guests.
