Since 1947, the Humane Society of Tuolumne County, located in Jamestown, has been dedicated to providing a safe haven for the area’s animals who find themselves lost, homeless, or in need of a bit of help. Thanks to a dedicated small staff and a whole lot of committed volunteers, dogs and cats get plenty of TLC and training at the shelter and in foster care, picking up the skills and knowledge they’ll need to settle nicely into their forever homes.
