The Dylan at SFO sits right in Millbrae, just a short distance from the airport, and it’s one of the better options if you’re traveling with your dog and need a place to stay near San Francisco International. The hotel has a distinctly modern boutique vibe—think sleek design and contemporary touches—which makes it feel more upscale than your typical airport hotel without the stuffiness.

The location works well for dogs. You’re in a pretty accessible area where you can take your dog out for walks without too much hassle, and the hotel itself is straightforward about welcoming dogs as guests. The staff understands that traveling with a dog takes some coordination, and they’re generally accommodating about it. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, so you can count on solid comfort for both you and your dog.

Dogs 35 pounds and 2 dogs maximum and under are welcome.  There is a $25 per night pet fee plus a $150 deposit. Please let them know in advance so they can block a pet-friendly room.

The surrounding area has some nice dog-friendly restaurants and enough green space that you and your dog can get some decent exercise before or after travel days.
