Growing up in South Africa, it was natural for Elizabeth to bring some of her roots with her to the US in the form of her love for this majestic breed. Thus, Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue was started as a stand-alone breed rescue in 1990.
Since that first day, many, many Ridgebacks and Ridgeback mixes have been successfully re-homed. The love for the breed remains as strong as ever.
