Robinhood Resort sits right across the street from Big Bear Lake in the heart of the village, which means you can walk your dog straight to the water without needing to drive anywhere. The location is genuinely convenient — restaurants, shops, the movie theater, two marinas, and lakeside parks are all within easy reach on foot. It’s the kind of place where you can grab coffee, take your dog for a morning walk around the village, and be back at your room by mid-morning.
The resort has 60 rooms spread across three buildings: the Robinhood Inn, Sherwood Forest, and Wishing Well. Inside your room, you’ll find free Wi-Fi, lake views from most rooms, fireplaces for cooler evenings, and some rooms have private in-room spas. There’s also an on-site restaurant if you don’t feel like heading out, and a 100-person banquet center if you’re planning something special.
The catch with bringing your dog is that only a limited number of rooms are pet-friendly, so booking ahead isn’t optional — it’s necessary if you want to stay with your dog. Eight different room types accommodate pets: Standard King, Standard Queen, Standard Two Bed, Standard Queen Spa, Superior King Spa, Superior Two Bed, Superior Two Bed ADA, and Premium Two Bed ADA. That’s actually a decent range of options, so you can choose based on what you need and your budget.
The real advantage here is waking up to lake views, being able to walk your dog directly across the street to the water, and having everything the village has to offer within a short walk. It’s the kind of setup where your dog gets plenty of activity without you spending half your vacation driving between activities.
